DMX 648 - DMX/MIDI/MSC DECODER

A versatile 48 channel DMX to analogue demultiplexer which allows users of analogue devices such as dimmers, colour scrollers etc., to have the advantages of single cable link multiplexing without the cost of conversion to digital. DMX 648 can also decode MIDI Music and MIDI Show formats. Front panel switches are used to set mode, format, options and start address. Channel test, user programmable backup memory and fault diagnostic facilities complete the package.

One of Multiform's latest ideas, a highly useful 2 channel DMX to analogue demultiplexer designed to provide convenient and inexpensive control from DMX for devices such as smoke machines, strobes etc., which are normally controlled by 1 or 2 channels of 0-10V. However, DMX 202 has many other possible applications! DMX 202 requires a DC supply of between 12V and 24V, which is often available from the controlled device. 4 bit resolution gives sixteen steps of analogue voltage level, which are more than enough for most potential applications. DMX signal present and DC present LED indicators are included.
