Multiform Technology Group is pleased to announce that it holds the exclusive UK distribution rights to a new and versatile PC-based DMX-512
controller, LightDesk 2000.
The controller is available as PC software, or as a 19" hardware version and
several packages are available. The range starts with a low-cost, entry-level 16-channel 'Lite' version. The software is available for 100, 250 and 500 DMX channels. These versions utilise the 'Mini Key' which plugs directly into a PC Parallel Port, converting computer signals to DMX format.
The 19-in. hardware models are able to control 512, or 1024 circuits, via the
inbulit touch screen panel. A network version using up to four personal computers can control up 4096 circuits. Over 200 DMX units can be controlled at any given time, using up to 30 functions per unit.
Most available functions are detected automatically by LightDesk 2000. Visual perspectives of the stage can be designed individually, and the stage show can be displayed in real time.
Controls may be synchronised by sound, CD-timecode or optional MIDI-clock, or SMPTE.
Further features include:
Simplified handling of events via mouse-click
Individual storage of a unit's functions while in scene design mode
Container Hangling function allows simple customisation of scenes and stage conditions
The product comes with a full support package, including gobos, colour tables,
hardware drivers, updates, help and general information, via internet download.
