| MULTIFORM ADD THE DMX 424 Multiform Technology Group have added the new DMX424, 24-channel DMX decoder, to their extensive range of control electronics.
The DMX424 is a
cost-effective, mains-powered decoder designed to provide the 10V DC analogue control signals essential for dimmer packs, colour changers, effects lighting, smoke machines and special effects in systems using DMX512 control protocol. The 24 output channels can be set to provide control signals of 0 to +10 volts, or from 0 to -10volts DC.
The unit will decode a block of consecutively numbered channels and the BCD switches select the number of the first DMX channel. Surge limiters
protect the unit against high voltage transients and an internal termination resistor can be set to terminate the DMX line.
The DMX424 features Backup memory in case of signal failure and the user can select between switching to the backup memory or to maintaining the last received output state.
Features include: - 24 analogue outputs
- +10V or -10V outputs
- Hard wired or DIN sockets
- DMX termination resistor
-
Watchdog and Rx data monitors
- Test programme
- User backup memory
- Wall-mounting case
